Midterm Elections - Santorum Goes Down and Vote Theft

Rick Santorum, who is probably the biggest cocksucker in the Senate (which is really ironic, if you know his politics), seems likely to lose his seat. He's trailing by double-digits. Even if the entire thing goes up in smoke, this single victory will be enough for me personally. Santorum has proven again and again that he's a vile human being and a toadying, incompetent legislator. He deserves worse than getting voted out of an office that he never deserved, but I'm willing to settle.

The best part is that he's apparently digging himself a nice little hole with negative ads containing images of mushroom clouds. Hopefully watching his campaign tank will convince others that negative, fearmongering ads aren't a panacea.

That said, there are some really disturbing indications that the fix could be in to such an extent that double-digit leads might not give Democrats the races they really deserve. Diebold is earning its keep - complaints of vote-switching in early voting are already piling up.
